This hotel definitely has its charm, especially if you're nostalgic for the 90s, but it also comes with some drawbacks. While the pools and lobby have a family-friendly vibe that we appreciated, the rooms are in dire need of an update. The staff were a mixed bag, and the location has potential but feels a bit dated. Overall, it was a fun family stay, but I wouldn't rate it as a modern resort.

I returned to Opal Cove hoping for a nostalgic experience, but it left me feeling underwhelmed. The rooms are spacious and would be comfortable if they were updated, and while the staff was polite, there weren't enough around to assist.
